ASCENT-RA | Phase 2 Clinical Study
Help Advance Research in Rheumatoid Arthritis
Scipher Medicine is planning ASCENT-RA, a Phase 2 clinical study of nebokitug, an investigational treatment for adults with moderately to severely active rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The study will evaluate its safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy.
Nebokitug is investigational and has not been approved by the FDA or any other regulatory authority.

Do You Treat Patients with Moderately to Severely Active RA?
ASCENT-RA is a planned randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 2 study evaluating intravenous nebokitug, an investigational monoclonal antibody targeting CCL24 (Eotaxin-2), over 12 weeks, followed by a 9-week safety follow-up.
The study incorporates biomarker-based patient selection using PrismRA®, Scipher Medicine’s molecular diagnostic test designed to predict inadequate response to tumor necrosis factor inhibitor (TNFi) therapies. Findings may inform future clinical development and evaluation of a potential companion diagnostic strategy, subject to study results and applicable regulatory requirements.

Living with Rheumatoid Arthritis? Learn About the ASCENT-RA Study.
Researchers are planning a clinical study for adults with moderately to severely active rheumatoid arthritis (RA). ASCENT-RA will evaluate nebokitug, an investigational medicine, to learn more about its safety and whether it may help people with RA.
Study participants may receive nebokitug or placebo (a treatment without active medicine). Neither participants nor study investigators will know which treatment an individual receives during the blinded portion of the study. Treatment is planned over 12 weeks, followed by a 9-week safety follow-up. Study participation and eligibility requirements will be explained by the research team.
The study plans to use a molecular blood test called PrismRA® to help identify patients for evaluation. Contacting Scipher Medicine does not mean you qualify for or are enrolled in the study.
Nebokitug is investigational and has not been approved by the FDA or any other regulatory authority. Its safety and effectiveness for RA have not been established.
